GREYT FEST 2019 INFORMATION

FREE Registration - TWO FREE EVENTS, Friday & Saturday July 19-20, 2019. Friday evening, 7 pm - 9 pm, you and your hounds are invited to enjoy the musical duo, "July". The FREE concert is hound friendly, so don't forget their beds. Feel free to bring your dinner, drinks will be availalbe for donation. Come and go as you need.  Saturday July 20th - Annual Greyt Fest - Gathering of Greyhounds and Sighthounds and the people who care about them, open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. See tentative agenda below.

Both events are FREE and inside AIR-CONDITIONED Floral Hall at the Shelby County Fairgrounds, 1513 Midland Trail, Shelbyville, KY 40065. This location is about 20 miles east of Louisville, KY.

Please help spread the word and see if we can top 10 states represented! Past attendees have been from IL, IN, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, WV and KY had a greyt time. Yay!! another state is attending - NY!!!

The main Greyt Fest, Saturday, July 20, 10 am - 5 pm, event offers vendors, silent auction, (optional pre-paid) catered BBQ lunch, costume contest and so much fun. Sodas and water will be available for a donation. An optional pre-paid lunch and event t-shirts are available for pre-order.

Friday night, July 19, 7 - 9 pm is a FREE pre-event concert by the musical duo "July". Feel free to bring your dinner. Sodas and water will be available for a donation. You are welcome to come and go as you please, no pressure to stay for the entire FREE concert.  Bring your hounds bedding so they can enjoy too. Vendor setup is Friday evening, they will NOT be open until Saturday morning.

• -Hummingbird Handworks - dog bandanas, pet related koozies and towels, hair scrungies
• -The Sewing Kit - textiles, garden flags, dog coats - altered to fit
• -$10 Nail Trimming and other services - all funds will be donated to KyG - thank you!

• HOTEL:Best Western Shelbyville Lodge - 115 Isaac Shelby Dr, Shelbyville, KY 40065, 502-633-4400. Thanks to Best Western for holding our group rate to be the same as last year. $90 per night, one-time pet fee of $20 for the entire stay - no pet limit. This is the 2019 rate, same as 2018. Mention Kentucky Greyhound Placement or ask for Patrick to get discounted rate. Choices 2 queen beds or 1 king. All rooms are non-smoking.
